About

Hello,

This is a space for me to share bits and pieces of content I have found to be interesting and wanted to learn more about, whether it’s in the arts or sciences, current developments or historical findings. As such, it is not exclusively a news site, but rather, it could involve—and might actually involve a lot more of—simply reading and summarizing concepts from university sites, textbooks, Wikipedia articles and other such sources. Essentially, it is a site for the mere sake of curiosity while logging the learning process. I am an expert in none of these fields, but I love to look up the answers to a wide variety of questions that come to mind.

Thanks and hope you enjoy!

When asked about what use could this new technology possibly have, he replied,

“Of what use is a newborn baby?”

Phrase uttered by either Michael Faraday after demonstrating electromagnetic induction, and/or Benjamin Franklin, after expressing fascination towards hot-air balloon flights. Nowadays used by many a scientist.
